I've been fortunate to work on the U.S. Army account since McCann won the business in 2005. As the son of two Department of the Army civilians (one a Viet Nam vet) and grandson of two WWII veterans, I'm proud to have had the opportunity. The productions are huge, the tanks and helicopters are mind-blowing and the Soldiers are really great people.

An epic anthem TV spot launched the Army's new tagline -- ARMY STRONG. Creating it was a weeks-long production shot on four Army installations across the country.

I also had the pleasure (?) of going to real U.S. Army Mini Boot Camp at Ft. Jackson, SC. They call it 'Mini' because it's shorter -- only 7 days -- but as any Drill Sergeant will tell you, they weren't letting us outta there without a taste of the real deal. You have no idea how long 7 days in South Carolina can be.
